Conversion
- An upgrade program for pilots who are already licensed. The discovery of microlights and their specificities.
- And for lovers of conventional gears , the conversion to this configuration which can be coupled with the "short track" improvement module.
Licence's conversion class 3
Whether you are an airplane, glider, helicopter or another class of microlight pilot, we will address the specific topics related to the flight of a 3-axis microlight.
The emphasis will be on the grasp of the inertia, the nervousness of the machine and for some of their speed and therefore the general need to be steered more frankly, more finely than some heavier machines and less sensitive to the elements.
Slides slips and PTS will also be reviewed for a better control of the landings in the countryside if necessary. A refresher of knowledge on centering and machine performance will be carried out.
Re-validation of radio in French.
The ULM theoretical part is considered to have been acquired for airplane or helicopter pilots in possession of a valid licence, or a certificate of successful completion of a theoretical exam of less than 24 months. For the others, the theoretical is to be ironed.
A block of about 5 hours of flight time is to be expected, including navigation to a controlled field and a refresher of knowledge related to the use of airfields open to IFR. (procedure, recognition, phraseology).
The issuance of the passenger load will be carried out following a flight test. A few hours of solo flight experience will be requested beforehand.
Conversion conventional gear
You want to learn how to use a microlight equipped with a conventional landing gear:
This module will allow you to understand the use of the controls (brakes, rudder) and their limits, to discover the particularities of the classic landing gear, the advantages and the pleasure of driving this type of machine.
It is indeed necessary to demystify the difficulty of piloting that is attributed to them, not to forget that it all started with the classic landing gear and that many drivers are still trained in this configuration with its certain advantages on less prepared tracks.
